What is Jeuveau?
Jeuveau® is a new neuromodulator, meaning it can block muscle movement using a specialized form of injected bacteria. By blocking nerve receptors, Jeuveau can reverse fine lines and wrinkles caused by repeated muscle activity (called dynamic wrinkles). The result is smoother, younger-looking skin in patients seeing the beginning signs of aging.
Jeuveau is similar to BOTOX® and Dysport® in its mechanism, but it’s a unique injectable treatment in that it’s designed solely for cosmetic use. During an appointment, our experienced injectors can help you select the right neuromodulator for your needs.

What Can I Expect From Jeuveau Treatment?
Jeuveau treatment requires only a 15-minute session. You’ll begin by consulting our experienced injectors to determine the right treatment plan for your needs. Then, your treatment area will be cleansed and sterilized. The product will be placed in the underlying muscles using a very fine needle. Once complete, you can return to your regular schedule.
Jeuveau Maintenance
To get the best results out of your Jeuveau treatment, it’s important to avoid bending over, laying down, or exercising after treatment. Additionally, you should avoid hot environments like showers or saunas, as well as rubbing or massaging your face, all of which can cause the product to spread to unwanted areas. You can expect some minor redness afterward, but it subsides within a few hours. It’s possible to experience light bruising with injectable treatments – this can be prevented by avoiding blood-thinning medications like ibuprofen before and after your session.
It can take about two weeks for Jeuveau results to emerge, at which point you can return for units as needed. Jeuveau can last for 3-6 months and our team will make sure you know when to come back for your next treatment session.
